Specific Medicare Plan Selection —
With or Without a Consultation
After running the i65 software and getting a Medicare RoadMap report, this service provides specific Medicare plan recommendations.
IMPORTANT: In order to use this service, you must first use the i65 software to get a Medicare RoadMap report. A RoadMap determines whether or not someone needs to enroll in or delay Medicare and determining the type of coverage that is best for the client's unique needs. A plan selection service does not do these things.
When it comes time to pick specific Medicare Supplement policies, Part D drug plans, and/or Medicare Advantage plans, i65 empowers advisors using the software to include the contact information of insurance agents they know and trust.
Sometimes, however, advisors prefer their clients to get specific Medicare plan recommendations from a source that does not sell insurance. When this is the preference, i65 offers plan selection services — with or without a consultation — directly from the Medicare experts at 65 Incorporated who do NOT sell insurance.
SERVICE GOALS
Through this expert service, clients will learn:
- What specific Medicare plans would be best for them — The experts at 65 Incorporated gather crucial information about the client about prescription medications and physicians. Then, the experts analyze the plans available and narrow the plan options to the three best plans. These final plans are reviewed in detail and presented to the client in a side-by-side comparison report. The experts make specific plan recommendations, but, ultimately, the client is able to choose the plan(s) them based upon the information provided.
- How the recommended plans would work — Coverage rules, networks, out-of-pocket costs, and more
- Opportunities to change the type of coverage — Part D drug plans and Medicare Advantage plans change premiums, networks, out-of-pocket costs and more from year to year. This service ensures that you client knows how and when to take action in the future to review their coverage and potentially change plans.
What's Included
- OPTIONAL — A 15-minute coverage review consultation, provided via phone or webinar with a Medicare expert
- One personalized Medicare Plan Comparison report, provided in a PDF format, detailing key cost, quality, and coverage factors of up to three of the most cost-effective plans in the client's ZIP code. The report also includes step-by-step instructions to enroll in specific plans.
- Answers to follow-up questions related to the RoadMap or the consultation
To order the FREE Plan Selection service for your client, be sure to check the “Add-on Plan Selection Report” option when approving your client’s Needs Assessment.
The process:
- To get started, run a Needs Assessment for your client.
- You do not "order" Plan Selection. This process is included as an option when approving a Medicare RoadMap. You must approve your client doing a Medicare RoadMap in order to get Plan Selection. The Plan Selection service is only available in conjunction with running a Medicare RoadMap report.
- After your client completes a Medicare RoadMap that results in fully enrolling in Medicare, a Plan Selection service will automatically be ordered for your client. If the RoadMap recommends delaying Medicare, the Plan Selection service will not be ordered.
- A representative from 65 Incorporated will contact the client via email to complete a questionnaire asking for client-specific information related to selecting specific plans, including doctors and prescription medications. Please note: The advisor is not privy the information provided through this questionnaire.
- Once the questionnaire is completed, a Medicare expert from 65 Incorporated will create the Plan Selection report.
- If you've requested a consultation in addition to a report for your client, 65 Incorporated will contact the client to schedule a time for the consultation and send out an email detailing the call in or webinar log in instructions.
- The advisor will receive the final Plan Selection report through the i65 system and the client will receive this report via email from 65 Incorporated.
